The Edson Archives houses a variety of material pertaining to the Town of Edson and surrounding area. This material is made up of photographs, documents, diaries, maps, newspapers, etc. Included are Municipal records and a large collection of Coal Branch photos and information. In general terms the boundaries of the area covered are as follows: east to Wildwood; west to Medicine Lodge; north to Shining Bank and south to Mountain Park. The archives clerk and librarian encourage donated materials provided there are no restrictions placed on it by the donor.

A microfilm reader and printer is available in the archives for the viewing of local newspapers. Thesis collection of newspapers on microfilm dates back to 1911. Copies of current local newspapers are also available in print form.

Donation Policy:  The Archives welcomes donations of historical material relevant to the Edson area. If you wish to donate, please contact the Archives clerk to make an appointment.
